As a sought-after producer-writer, Butch Walker has worked with such pop-rock princesses as Pink, Avril Lavigne and Lindsay Lohan. Left to his own devices for his third solo effort, Walker glams it up with new backing band the Let's-Go-Out-Tonites on an entertaining disc that takes its title from David Bowie's 1972 glitter-rock classic The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars. It's a party record mostly about partying, harking back to the hedonistic heyday of the '70s. "I'm tired, I'm bored/ Where's the cocaine/ Things don't get started 'til midnight in my brain," Walker sings on one track, while extolling the pleasures of "Hot Girls in Good Moods" on another. Leaving no nasty hangover, it all makes for one fun flashback.
