The yellow Lab "wore a burgundy collar to match the bridesmaids," says Kelly Colling of her September '06 wedding in Upstate New York. "She's like our kid," adds Brent, the groom. Says Kelly: "It was one of our first decisions about the wedding: Kalik has to be in it."
JAVA, RING BEARER
The Jack Russell terrier mix surprised guests at Lisa and Warren Berzack's Huntington Beach, Calif., wedding in July. "The rabbi said, 'Can we have the rings?' and my aunt let him out of his carrier to go down the aisle," says Lisa. (Yes, he's wearing a yarmulke.)
NUALA, MATCHMAKER
Christina Kramlich met veterinarian Peter Bowie when she took her standard poodle to a pet emergency center five years ago. Nuala led the recessional at their Oakville, Calif., wedding in August '05.
KAYA, RING BEARER
Marla and Joe Cassidy both wanted their yellow Lab in the 2003 ceremony in Philadelphia. "We bought her in college and she's the glue that's kept us together," says Marla.
BETTY, FLOWER DOG/RING BEARER
At Holly and Matt Trivan's 2004 ceremony in Chicago, the rings were attached to Betty's collar. For favors, the couple gave out Lab-shaped cookies and made a donation to the Humane Society.

KARLTON, RING BEARER
When Priscilla DeMarchi married Andy Brennan in Vancouver in September, their Yorkshire terrier wore the tuxedo he had gotten as a Christmas gift the year before.
JACKSON, GUEST
The golden retriever behaved at Margot and Carter Ramsay's October wedding in Virginia but not so much at the rehearsal dinner. "He ate part of the cake," says Margot. "But nobody knew the difference."
