It's a girl for actor Jason Bateman (Arrested Development) and his wife, actress Amanda Anka, who had their first child, daughter Francesca Nora Bateman, Oct. 28 in L.A. The couple, both 37, wed in Malibu on July 3, 2001.... On Oct. 26 in L.A., Charmed star Holly Marie Combs, 32, and her husband, David Donoho, 41, welcomed their second child, son Riley Edward Donoho. "He has hair like Elvis, a full head of black hair!" his dad tells PEOPLE. Riley joins big brother Finley, 2.... Arizona Cardinals quarterback Matt Leinart, 23, rushed from the team's afternoon practice to be at the birth of his son Cole Cameron Leinart, born Oct. 24 in Santa Monica. Cole's mom, Brynn Cameron, 20, is a junior on the USC women's basketball team. "The baby is healthy, and both families are very excited," a source tells PEOPLE.
Brad Pitt is seeking trespassing charges against E! Networks after a producer and cameraman allegedly walked onto the actor's property in the Hollywood Hills Oct. 20. "We are exploring our legal options against both the crew that actually trespassed and the network itself," his rep tells PEOPLE. The cable network is denying any intentional wrongdoing. According to a statement: "The network in no way condones or encourages such behavior and would like to offer its most sincere apologies to Mr. Pitt and his family." An L.A. police spokesperson says the incident is still under investigation.... Rapper Snoop Dogg, a.k.a. Calvin Broadus, was arrested Oct. 26 at Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, on suspicion of possessing marijuana and a handgun. Police reportedly found the weapon and drugs when his vehicle was approached for parking in a passenger loading zone. Dogg, 35, was freed on $35,000 bail and is due for a Dec. 12 arraignment. "We believe that once this is cleared up, all charges will be dismissed," his attorney said in a statement.
After 35 years hosting The Price Is Right, Bob Barker will say goodbye to the game show in June. "I will be 83 years old on Dec. 12," he told the AP. "And I've decided to retire while I'm still young."
Desperate Housewives' Marcia Cross is seeking the return of purported nude pictures of herself found in the garbage by movers cleaning out her garage. David Hans Schmidt, who represents the movers, is shopping the rights overseas but has also offered to sell Cross back the photos. "I'm leaving the door open for Marcia Cross to give me a reasonable settlement offer." Cross's rep could not be reached for comment.
ANNA NICOLE: MORE CONTROVERSY
While she was fending off pneumonia at the Bahamas hospital where her son Daniel died Sept. 10, Anna Nicole Smith's legal woes continued. Photographer Larry Birkhead, 33, who filed suit Oct. 2 claiming he fathered her 8-week-old daughter, Dannielynn Hope, is suing again, accusing Smith, 38, of allegedly conspiring with her partner, Howard K. Stern, to misrepresent Stern as the father of the child. He also requests a change in the baby's last name from Stern to Birkhead. Says her lawyer: "These are baseless accusations and will be addressed in due course." Before her illness Smith discussed her son's tragedy on Entertainment Tonight, saying, "I don't understand why God's taken [Daniel] and didn't take me."
