A new troupe of celebs signs up for season 3 of Dancing with the Stars, which begins Sept. 12

With the ratings this show gets (27 million tuned in to last February's finale), I almost expected Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston to do battle on the dance floor this season. Instead, we'll see NFL retiree Emmitt Smith, singer Sara Evans, Saved by the Bell's Mario Lopez, ex-Blossom star Joe ("don't call me Joey") Lawrence and MSNBC talking head Tucker Carlson, who I hope trades in the bow tie for some spandex at least once. Still, this is the most fun cast yet. Who's poised to win? My bet's on Harry Hamlin, whose wife, season 2's Lisa Rinna, can coach him at home. Second place: Vivica A. Fox, who will likely take the show more seriously than, say, Jerry Springer will. I'm calling it—he'll be the first to go.
