CHARLIE'S FAMILY FUN

He may be embroiled in a messy custody battle with his ex DENISE RICHARDS, but that hasn't stopped CHARLIE SHEEN from enjoying quality time with his kiddies. On Aug. 25 the Two and a Half Men star (along with fiancée Brooke Mueller) and daughters Sam, 3, and Lola, 2, joined pal BROOKE SHIELDS at Kids Connection, the Art of Elysium benefit at the French Connection Beach House in Malibu. Sheen and his brood painted seashells and made flower necklaces and bopped to a children's band (all under the watchful eye of Richards's assistant, who accompanied them). "We are out with the kids and supporting what matters," Sheen told Insider. "It's fabulous."

BIEL'S BETTING WAYS

Sure, JESSICA BIEL is buff, but can she bluff? "I have a good poker face," she told Insider at the grand opening of the Ivy Hotel in San Diego Aug. 24. The actress (who attended without boyfriend JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE) showed off her card smarts at the hotel's poker tournament benefiting the Hollywood Entertainment Museum and Biel's own charity the Make the Difference Network. After cashing in her chips, Biel partied with pals at Eden, the Ivy's rooftop lounge. "We're celebrating in a beautiful place and having fun," she said. "All for a good cause."

Heroes star MILO VENTIMIGLIA may have superpowers on TV, but in real life he's vulnerable to his fans. At the Beverly Hills Hotel's Polo Lounge on Aug. 23, the actor obligingly left his party to pose for pictures with eager female fans after they requested a bodyguard to ask him for a photo op.

A Very British affair: VICTORIA BECKHAM and husband DAVID, along with Hell's Kitchen chef GORDON RAMSAY and wife TANA, enjoyed a fun double date at West Hollywood's Chateau Marmont Aug. 24.

MISCHA BARTON is a fan of a certain heartbreaker. "I'm a massive Tom Petty fan," she tells Insider at the Mercedes-Benz Polo match Aug. 25, about attending the singer's Hampton Social concert that night. "I love classic rock."
