NBC (Sept. 4, 8 p.m. ET)
DRAMA

When Diff'rent Strokes star Todd Bridges brought his two left feet to Skating with Celebrities, it was both a camp joke and, in a weird touching way, validation of his attempt to overcome his many struggles since the sitcom ended in 1986. This NBC dramatization of the downfall of the young Strokes cast is cheap and undistinguished, but that doesn't lessen its sting. Bridges and costar Gary Coleman provide commentary that is both bitter and articulate. "It didn't ground me up," Coleman says of Hollywood, "but I am well-chewed."
