Costello Music
INDIE ROCK

You may have already heard this Scottish trio on the groovy new iPod/iTunes commercial in which colorful silhouettes boogie to their infectious ditty "Flathead." The Fratellis deliver more good-time rock for the skinny-jeans set on their debut CD. These dudes—who, in a show of band solidarity, have all adopted the last name of bassist Barry Fratelli professionally—sound like they could knock back pints with fellow U.K. indie darlings Arctic Monkeys on some of these tunes, while on others, such as the guitar-hooky "Everybody Knows You Cried Last Night," they do Elvis Costello himself proud.
