Johnny Depp
Johnny Depp is feeling blessed these days—and not just because he's back in Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, the third installment of the billion-dollar Disney franchise, due May 25. A greater joy: After a nine-day hospitalization this winter, daughter Lily-Rose, 8, has recovered from her still-undisclosed serious illness "beautifully," Depp told Britain's Mirror earlier this month. "It was a reminder ... of how lucky we are to be able to breathe, walk, talk, think and surround ourselves with people we love." (Along with Lily-Rose, those include Depp's longtime girlfriend Vanessa Paradis, 34, and the couple's second child, Jack, 5.) Also in the lucky department: Buzz is building for Sweeney Todd, due out in December, in which Depp, 43, has his first movie singing role. All that, and he still isn't copping an attitude. "Mr. Depp is welcome in my car anytime," declares a driver from the Pirates set. "He is very classy."
