OH WHAT A NIGHT!
BOYS GONE WILD
It was celebrity gridlock Jan. 5 when LINDSAY, PARIS and SCARLETT were just a few of the stars alighting at Hollywood's exclusive Les Deux nightclub (owned by the Dolce Group's Mike Malin, Lonnie Moore and Sylvain Bitton). Amid the flowering trees and flowing fountain, the scene:
One day after her appendectomy, LINDSAY LOHAN
danced table-side to Gwen Stefani
and hoisted her shirt to show off her surgical-tape-covered scar. When the Rockstar-energy-drink-swilling Lohan headed out at 1 a.m., Hilary Duff
and friends took over the spot.
gyrated to her single "Stars Are Blind" on a couch while sis NICKY sang along. Among those enjoying their sexy show was the cigar-smoking, newly single Kid Rock. Paris later punched digits into the rocker's cell phone before bidding him adieu.
A comparatively subdued SCARLETT JOHANSSON
(and new fixture on the Los Angeles club scene) relaxed with a group of around 10 nonceleb friends and was later joined by RACHEL BILSON
(whose show, The O.C.
, had been canceled just two days before).
BOYS GONE WILD: Other single stars, like Nicky's ex KEVIN CONNOLLY, TRAVIS BARKER (who split from wife Shanna Moakler in August), JESSE METCALFE and Girls Gone Wild's
JOE FRANCIS, stayed on foot, the better to mingle with all the ladies.
LINDSAY'S RAPID RECOVERY
Onlookers were surprised to see Lindsay clubbing (above) just a day after her appendectomy. But L.A. surgeon John C. Lipham says that if Lohan had it done laparoscopically (which is less invasive than the traditional procedure), she could've been out and about after 24 hours. Still, says Lipham, "We generally recommend taking it easy for a week—not all patients listen."
