Behind the Seams
PROPER SIGNAGE: If anyone uses that old pickup line on Jessica Biel—"What's your sign?"—she has every excuse not to answer. It's obvious: The star recently requested Maya Brenner's Pisces necklace and matching aquamarine birthstone charm ring from the designer's Zodiac collection....

COMMERCIAL BREAK: Female celebrities aren't the only ones signing on to promote cosmetics these days. Children of Men star Clive Owen is the newest (and first male celeb) spokesperson for Lancôme. Beginning in April, Owen will appear in ads for the brand's new men's skin-care line Lancôme Men and upcoming men's fragrance, Hypnôse Homme. The scent, says Owen, "is very masculine and embodies seduction." Meanwhile, Desperate Housewives' Eva Longoria is now the face of BEBE SPORT and will appear in its ad campaign, launching in March. Says the actress: "[It's] a dream fulfilled."...
FACE TIME: There's a reason why Mandy Moore always has a glow about her: Makeup artist Julie Hewett, who tended to Moore for the upcoming romantic comedy Because I Said So, created a shimmery cheek and lip palette especially for the star....

NESTING INSTINCT: Who says diaper bags can't be goth? Project Runway's Heidi Klum, who was a fan of black nail polish way before it was trendy, maintains her rocker chick aesthetic with a black leather studded nappy bag by Nest for new son Johan.

The Déjà Vu star dishes on her must-have fashion and beauty items

Bulgari B.zero1 18k yellow gold ring, $1,150; 800-285-4274.
2 THE BOOT
"I'm living in these Coach boots—they've become part of my uniform. I have them in tan and black."
Coach calfskin Sara boot, $498; 866-262-2440.
3 THE MAKEUP
"You can use this on both your cheeks and your lips. If I have this, mascara and some under-eye concealer, I'm good to go."
Stila Color Push Ups in Pink Flash, $20; stilacos metics.com
4 THE SWEATER
"Express has these really cute sweaters you can wear over anything. I can't afford designer everything!"
Express cable shawl collar cardigan $59.50; ex pressfashion .com for stores.
5 THE JEANS
"I really like J Brand skinny jeans. But if the jeans are skinny, I usually try to wear something flowing on top—let the stomach hang out."
J Brand 912 pencil leg in ink, $159; 212-247-1100.
FASHION CRED: Though Patton (in Gucci) is a red-carpet novice, she turned heads on the premiere circuit in fresh ensembles by Alberta Ferretti and Oscar de la Renta.
