Jennifer's Primate Party
Jennifer Connelly and husband Paul Bettany met some fun-loving locals while on a break from filming her latest drama, Blood Diamond, in Africa. "A gang of baboons got into our [hotel] room," says the actress, 36. "We left the sliding door to the balcony open—which we'd been advised not to do—for about a half hour. We came back to find baboons jumping on the bed, eating candy bars and raiding the minibar."

Liu's Frigid Dip
Lucy Liu and Nicollette Sheridan's nighttime bubble-bath fantasy scene in their new comedy Code Name: The Cleaner was anything but a dream to film. "We were in a kiddie pool wearing lingerie, [it was] freezing, and the bubbles kept dissipating," says Liu, 38. "They had to keep filling the thing with [more] bubbles [and reshooting]. At one point I was like, 'That's the end! You've got enough romping.'" But calling off bath time may have thrown a wet towel on the rest of the cast and crew's night. "Normally, people are like, 'I'm going to bed!' But everybody was there [to watch] at 3 o'clock in the morning—like it was a dance party!"

When people ask me, 'So what about the age difference?' I just shrug and say, 'Well, if he dies, he dies'

Miss USA imbibes underage: Maybe now the pageant will have a "who can pound more drinks?" [contest].

Britney and K-Fed divorce: I don't care if Britney wants to marry a weirdo. But just sing a damn song, will ya?

A little-known Cook fact: I cry every time I see Rocky. I saw Rocky Balboa the other night and teared up [as soon as] the music came on.

Filming Good Luck Chuck with Jessica Alba: We go at it full-tilt boogie during a love scene. I smashed her into a framed photo and our teeth [knocked together]. She chipped a tooth and I cracked mine. It was like, "Nobody's bleeding—just don't smile for the rest of the scene."
