The collaboration of Katharine Hepburn, 69, and director George Cukor, 79, began in 1932 and has produced such film classics as The Philadelphia Story and Adam's Rib. Their 10th project is this stirring adaptation of the Emlyn Williams play about a teacher's struggles in a Welsh mining village, with Hepburn as scrappily charming as ever.
