This series of 10 hour-long programs celebrates the greatest short subjects ever made, or at least the greatest ever put up for an Oscar. Highlights of the premiere include Spills and Chills, a 1949 documentary on daredevil stunts, and England's Great, an indescribable madcap piece of animation from 1975.
