Picks and Pans Review: The Television Annual 1978/79

It's a new idea for TV self-congratulation and packing stars into a single show by splicing clips from the past season. Stockard Channing and Hal Linden, for example, introduce sitcoms, while Walter Cronkite, Frank Reynolds and John Chancellor present news bits. If the show becomes an annual event, it will rotate among the networks and PBS.
