Picks and Pans Review: A Cry for Justice

The detective genre may be well worn, but this TV film proves it isn't worn out. The ever quirky Robert Culp plays a flashy if slipshod investigator whose drab partner, Dennis Weaver, insists on digging into the shooting of fellow cop Donald Reid. Larry Hagman is splendid as a heavy-drinking lawyer, Diana Muldaur empathetic as Weaver's wife.
