Melissa Sue (Little House on the Prairie) Anderson has a home on the Great Plains here too, but these are modern times and it's broken up by divorce. When she moves to California, she falls in with affluent high school punks. Anderson and Talia Balsam (Martin's daughter) as her best friend are convincing, but the simplistic script cops out by blaming the grownups for every crisis.
