Art Carney won a 1975 Oscar as a septuagenarian traveling cross-country with his cat, Tonto. Director Paul (An Unmarried Woman) Mazursky filled out the cast with Ellen Burstyn, Chief Dan George, Geraldine Fitzgerald, Larry Hagman and Avon Long.
