TV movies rarely reach these heights. Fred Astaire richly earned his 1978 Emmy as a coronary-stricken retiree, and Helen Hayes was perfect as his wife. Their anguished children, Patty Duke Astin and Efrem Zimbalist Jr., were fine, too. (Repeat)
