Thumbs down for this hackneyed TV movie. Charlene (Dallas) Tilton is passable as a 17-year-old who hitches from home to her job at a hamburger stand. But after a friend is picked up and killed and another is assaulted, Tilton is taken for a ride by an unbelievable plot. Dick (Eight Is Enough) Van Patten and Katherine (Soap) Helmond provide standard turns as understanding parents.
