CBS (9 p.m. ET)

Director Hal (Hooper) Needham offers another big payday for stunt men, this one nastier than most. Neo-Angel Shelley Hack (p. 66) is a TV reporter tracking a maniac who pushes cars off the Ventura freeway with a bus so huge it might stand out even on the frenzied roads of California. George Hamilton is good as Hack's estranged husband, while Frank Gorshin, Peter Graves, Harriet Nelson, Dinah Shore and Abe Vigoda do cameos. The car accidents and their grisly aftermath star.
