They should have made it "mickey mouse disco" with small M's. There is one funny track on the LP—Macho Duck, with Donald D himself quacking out disco catch phrases, "I love it," "fantastic" and "unbelievable," behind an otherwise unamusing formula tune. Even that is only reminiscent of the vastly superior Sesame Street disco send-ups. The rest of the album, performed, not enthusiastically, by Nashville studio musicians, includes a few painfully straight new tunes and ghastly disco versions of Disney classics Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah and Chim Chim Cher-ee. It's strictly from Downerland.
