ABC (9-11 p.m. ET)
Cary Grant and Constance Bennett did the deft 1937 original of this tale about a dead couple who come back to haunt an old banker friend. Robert Sterling and Anne Jeffreys starred in a '50s TV series. Now Kate Jackson and real-life husband Andrew Stevens try not very subtly to extract a few last laughs in a TV movie. Jack Warden, as Cosmo Topper the baffled banker, and Rue McClanahan, as his bossy wife, are strong support.
