Age discrimination hardly seems a problem for Art Carney, since he's so busy making films about it. Here he's a newspaperman forced to retire. Maureen Stapleton is his too understanding wife and Mike (M*A*S*H) Farrell their aimless son. Though they're predictably excellent, the script sounds like a Social Security Administration guide.
