Picks and Pans Review: When She Was Bad
If you can stand another preachy melodrama, watch this strong TV movie. It's Cheryl Ladd exposing child abuse, a pet cause she shared with husband David, who co-produced the film before they separated in October. She couldn't play a less angelic role—a mother who seriously injures her daughter. But Robert (Vegas) Urich is effective as the father, Ladd is frighteningly real and Eileen Brennan is convincing as her therapist.
