The pioneering punk rocker blew her fuse at Charlie's Angels ("a fashion show, basically") but was impressed by Roots II. She regarded The Amityville Horror as a bomb: "They didn't film the scariest parts of the book." Her movie favorites tended to be Old Wave: Heaven Can Wait and Close Encounters. Jackie O bios by Kitty Kelley and Stephen Birmingham passed muster; not so Elia Kazan's Acts of Love (1978): "He's trying to understand a woman of today," Suzi fumed, "but all he can think of is what's between her legs."
