Picks and Pans Review: Ohms

The villain is a power company, but rate hikes aren't why these TV movie citizens are up in arms. The utility wants to build a million-volt transmission line, and David Birney, an ex-radical now teaching, decides to stop it. Ralph Waite is convincing as a farmer who joins the cause, which is named for the unit of electrical resistance (get it?). Cameron Mitchell as a country lawyer is another reason this is better than most TV drama.
