A National Geographic special probes the universe beyond man's naked eye. With the help of ultrasophisticated microphotography, water is shown crystallizing into ice, a single atom moves within a solid piece of matter and a bullet rips through a playing card. Most startling, researchers enable a blind man to "see" using a TV camera connected to electrodes implanted in his brain.
