Ex-pro-football heavy Alex Karras and actress Susan Clark, who have been living together for three years and had a daughter two months ago, produced and star in this excellent made-for-TV film. Karras is compelling as Detroit restaurateur Jimmy Butsicaris, a real-life buddy, who befriends a black street kid, played by impressive newcomer Curtis Yates.
