Many critics considered this sitcom about shenanigans in a Wall Street law firm as the best new series of the fall. So, predictably, it became a corpus delicti within four weeks, but now it's being reprieved for a second tryout. John Houseman, alumnus of another fine series that failed, The Paper Chase, guest-stars in tonight's debut as a professor whom one young lawyer remembers as "Idi Amin without the warmth." Houseman's confrontations with the Associates sly senior partner, Wilfrid Hyde-White, are marvels of literate insult.
