The late David Janssen, in his last TV movie, plays an over-the-hill newspaperman who attempts a comeback by sensationalizing the story of a psychotic killer of five young women. Robert Vaughn is cast in another barracuda part as a circulation-hungry publisher. Boyish Mickey Rourke is scary as a Son of Sam-type murderer, and the result is as chilling as yellow journalism itself.
