Natalie Wood plays an amnesiac whose troubles start as a child when she's a passenger on a torpedoed liner. Ralph Bellamy is her sinister father, who wants to raise the ship to retrieve smuggled diamonds and hires Robert Foxworth to cover up the plot. What gets dredged up, however, is a confusing tale of murder and revenge.
