The program also includes segments filmed at the original Walton's Mountain in Schuyler, Va., where the real John-Boy, series creator Earl Hamner, has the cast interview their namesakes. Yes, Jim-Bob really brought a peacock home, Mary Ellen was a tomboy and, yes, the Hamners watch The Waltons weekly.
