Picks and Pans Review: Kounovsky's Instant Fitness

UPDATED 05/26/1980 at 01:00 AM EDT Originally published 05/26/1980 at 01:00 AM EDT

by Nicholas Kounovsky

In six minutes a day, followers of Kounovsky are assured, they can get results. (Of course, 12 minutes is better and 24...) Kounovsky, once impresario of a chic Manhattan gym visited by the likes of Jackie Kennedy, favors a regimen that fits into daily life. There are exercises to do in bed, the shower, the car and the office. Gimmicky and undemanding, the routines are good for beginners. The serious should look elsewhere. (G.P. Putnam/ Paragon Books, $4.95)
