The popular Barney Miller cop tours his old Manhattan haunts, singing pleasantly, cracking awful jokes with Shecky Greene and even playing clarinet. The Radio City Music Hall Rockettes and the sardonic Robert (Benson) Guillaume help, but New York has never been this bland.
