ABC (8-9 p.m. ET)
Remember the classy 1950s TV program? This revival is promising, if uneven. The first show—others are planned but unscheduled—features Sandy Duncan flying on Broadway in Peter Pan (good), Lewis (Benson) Stadlen playing Groucho Marx (fair), Loretta Lynn and Luciano Pavarotti crooning (stagey), Meryl Streep reciting America the Beautiful with the National Theatre of the Deaf (schmaltzy), and a display of gowns by designers Edith Head and Bob Mackie worn by Cher, Ann-Margret and Cheryl Ladd (this is kul-chur?). Best is a dance based on football movements performed by choreographer Twyla Tharp, New York City Ballet star Peter Martins and Lynn Swann, who usually jetés for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
