ABC (10-11 p.m. ET)
For lack of other lurid topics, the networks fall back on the females-in-cages gambit. But this TV movie, probably inspired by the popular syndicated Australian series Prisoner: Cell Block H, is superior to most of the genre. Debra Clinger, Elizabeth Hartman, Carol Lynley and Sarah Kennedy are the sympathetic inmates, while John T. Ryan and Ruth Roman are the churlish guards.
