Picks and Pans Review: Bound for Glory

David Carradine, Ronny Cox, Melinda Dillon, Gail Strickland and Randy Quaid star in the 1976 movie based on the life of folksinger Woody Guthrie. A commercial flop underrated by reviewers, the film won Oscars for its score and for Haskell Wexler's beautiful cinematography. Carradine was also nominated for what is perhaps the finest performance of his career.
