Granted, Bogart and his Baby, Lauren Bacall, created a movie classic with their 1946 version of the Raymond Chandler novel. But Robert Mitchum, Sarah Miles, James Stewart, Candy Clark and Joan Collins proved surprisingly equal to their predecessors in this 1978 remake.
