Kristy and Jimmy McNichol make their debut as a dramatic duo playing sister and brother. She decides to check out his involvement with an ominously hypnotic religious cult called the Light of Salvation, risking terminal boredom during the sect's tedious sermons. Anne Jackson and Michael McGuire are suitably frantic as the youngsters' parents, but their shrillness, like the TV movie itself, provides more heat than, well, illumination.
