Inspired by David Bowie's mouth-print thank-you note to Charles of the Ritz in London, a shop that had sent him a box of cosmetics, this little book is a collection of "lip-o-graphs." Many are British and unknown to Americans, but there are plenty of familiar kissers, including Muhammad Ali, Candice Bergen, Sean Connery, Farrah Fawcett, Mick Jagger, Luciano Pavarotti and John Travolta. The book's royalties go to the Save the Children Fund, a Connecticut-based organization that aids youngsters around the world through community development programs. (A&W Publishers, $10)
