Picks and Pans Review: Aloha Paradise

The network tries to float a plush Hawaiian resort as a sort of landlocked Love Boat. Debbie Reynolds, as the manic manager, skippers guests like Van Johnson, Jayne Meadows and Lorne Greene (and bevies of bouncing beauties whose other measurements exceed their IQs). Nonetheless this new series sinks fast. (Premiere)
