When their joyriding teenage son is shot dead by police, grieving parents Hal Holbrook and Dixie Carter take on some stonewalling Texas bureaucrats who have covered up the circumstances of the boy's death. This well-acted TV drama is all the more disturbing because it is based on an actual 1977 incident.
