A visually stunning spectacle about the Roman siege of a Jewish stronghold in A.D. 73, Masada has everything—including brilliant performances by Peter O'Toole as the Roman general, Peter Strauss as leader of the Jewish Zealots and Anthony Quayle as the Roman engineer trying to breach the fortifications. ABC has spent more than $20 million in hopes of producing this year's Shogun; the rest of the eight hours air through Wednesday.
