Kevin Mahon and Paul (Fame) McCrane star in a TV movie based on the real-life exploits of Curtis Sliwa, founder of the controversial New York anti-crime squad, the Guardian Angels. Sliwa, who was paid $30,000 and a percentage of the profits for his story, claims the final product falsely portrays him as a "glowering and hardened vigilante," but he failed in a court bid to block its airing.
