ABC (9-11 p.m. ET)
Far from the usual broadsword-and-crossbow extravaganza, director Richard Lester's 1976 movie takes a rueful look at the Merry Men 20 years past their prime and discovers Robin (Sean Connery) can't cope with retirement, although his beloved (Audrey Hepburn) has matured gracefully into Middle-Aged Marian. Richard Harris, Robert Shaw and Nicol Williamson round out a splendid cast.
