In 1976 singer Morris' brain swelled inexplicably during a routine operation to remove a benign tumor, and her frustrated surgeon gave his patient up for lost. Almost miraculously, Morris emerged from her ordeal intent, despite impaired eyesight and reading skills, to pursue her career. Leonard Nimoy and Penelope Milford are well cast in this affecting 1980 TV movie. (Repeat)
