Picks and Pans Review: Irene

In 1980's Fame, Irene Cara played the gifted but raw young talent trying to make it. Ditto in this failed sitcom pilot about three young women who share a New York loft and big-time aspirations. Cara's singing is fine, but the rest of the show is more Podunk than Manhattan.
