Picks and Pans Review: Intuition

This useful game borders on group therapy. Two to four players take turns choosing 10 cards from among 30 that list qualities—"principled, ethical" or "optimistic, idealistic"—to describe either themselves or their ideal friend or mate. The other players try to anticipate those descriptions by choosing 10 cards of their own. Things would be much livelier if some negative qualities had been included on the cards. You could make supplemental card sets, though, if you're willing to risk the occasional knock-over-the-playing-board row with someone who insists, "I am not 'lazy, idle' or 'loathsome, despicable' " ($15).
