On the raspy rocker's chart of faves, the Rolling Stones' single Start Me Up inspired Carnes to turn up her radio and sing along with Mick. She also liked the hit European LP Vienna, by the British group Ultravox. However, she frowned on comic Bruce Baum's Marty Feldman Eyes, a satire on Kim's own Bette Davis Eyes. Carnes was mesmerized by Ingrid Bergman's autobiography—"being a woman in show business, I could relate to it a lot"—and plans to add some of Ingrid's films to her video library, which includes Carnes' all-time favorite, Alan Bates in 1966's King of Hearts. The singer also tunes in 60 Minutes, but laments, "I miss Dan Rather."
