The New York Congressman who once played pro football says his movie choice is the late show classic Knute Rockne—All-American, starring Ronald Reagan as the doomed George Gipp. Of recent films, Kemp was unamused by Arthur, on TV, he cheered both Itzhak Perlman on PBS and Monday Night Football. His political conservatism trickled down to his literary taste and led him to boo economist Lester Thurow's anti-Reaganomics treatise, The Zero-Sum Society.
